Holiday Memories Do-Over

I’m reposting these videos as links from YouTube—apparently my newfound love of Google Video is misplaced, since many of you reported that you couldn’t watch them.  And if you’ve already seen them, you can look at them again if you’d like.  I can’t get enough of them myself.

Christmas with Hudson: 2008 and 2009

Hudson’s First (Sort of) Steps

  1. Oh Mandy... my heart is with you, friend. I LOVE the Christmas memories slideshow you put together with photos from the 2 Christmas holidays with Hudson. We only had one Christmas with Matteo, because he was a January baby. I wish he would have had two, three, four, five... a million. Right? I know you feel the same. I am so sorry. I just wish I could do something to help you, and yet, I know I can't... reading your words often pulls me back in time to exact moments of my sucky journey of loss. And, I hate it. I still can't tell you it's any better. Wish I could. But, I can tell you that when your new little one arrives, he/she will be such a gift and will be loved and cherished in a way that most children aren't. That child will be SO lucky to have you & Ed as parents. Sending you love and prayers always, my friend. Hang in there. And, thanks for sharing these beautiful videos... they are better than a buried treasure and you know it. xoxoxoxo

  2. Such a lovely, precious child. As much as it hurts to have have lost her - what an amazing gift she was! I know you treasure her memory. I'm grateful that you share it with us.

  6. Thank you so much for reposting! As someone above said, I couldn't view them the first go-round & didn't want to bother you by asking you to repost them. I LOVE the series of pics where she is opening that Elmo doll! The look on her face when she gives it that first hug is absolutely adorable! It was the first hug of many, I'm sure! What a joyful child...

May 2011 bring you more joy than pain, dear Mandy...much, MUCH more joy.
