Thank you for sharing these gorgeous pictures, Mandy. I'm always so struck by how beautiful Hudson is. It's so clear how deeply loved and cherished she always was.
What a perfect little baby! That one picture just kills me where she looks with open and wise eyes at you. Thank you for the photos, very special indeed.
Thank you so much for letting us in to the most intimate moments of your life, pain, joy and healing. You continue to amaze me with your humanity. Renee P.
Mandy, I had heard from Kelley and Aunt P about your daughter. I, of course, did not know all the details until I read your complete blog. Thank you for sharing Hudson with us. I feel truly blessed to be able to learn from you and your experience.
I am attempting to do "One Good Thing" everyday during the month of December (a goal I had set before reading your blog this evening, but now have more ambition and desire to follow through) - today was donations for the Salvation Army's Empty Stocking Fund. Thanks again for your honesty and strength and congrats on the new baby! So exciting Jeanne Day Boeck
I'm just catching up on your blog, and I have tears just streaming down my face because I can feel the joy and the hurt so powerfully from your words and these photos. These are so beautiful. What I am struck by is how much Hudson looks like *herself* from the very first moments. So many babies are squishy and unrecognizable at the beginning, and look so different later on. Hudson is so clearly Hudson from the very beginning. I think of her strong personality and spirit that I've gotten to know here. Thank you.
Agree with Roberta -- It is striking how very distinctive she is and how much you can see both you and Ed in that little newborn Hudson face right away!
