  4. smiling through tears, Mandy. (I believe the great Dolly Parton in Steel Magnolia said that laughter through tears was her favorite emotion, which I love.) Thinking of you all so often as two very important days approach.

  8. You and Ed are pillars of strength and beauty! Hudson IS with you and I am glad that you find ways to feel her presence-she is there in the beautiful trees surrounding you in that special place.

Holding your family in my thoughts as you prepare to welcome Jackson into the outside world.

  9. Mandy,
Yes, Hudson is with us always, and each year those blossoms come out her presence will be renewed. I hope that once Jackson is with us, you will start taking family photos there regularly. The beauty of the flowers, and their continued reemergence will serve as a powerful lesson to him on who his sister is.

  17. Beautiful pictures of HOPE...abstract ideas like that are sometimes hard to make concrete, but yea, these are pictures of HOPE. And of looking forward...and of anticipating new life, already there but soon to be where you can HUG him and kiss him and count his little fingers and toes! And you already know how I feel about our children's continuing presence...I don't for one minute doubt that Hudson is watching over all of you, especially her baby brother.

    Love,
    Judy
