routines with Hudson), I saw this dandelion. It was right by the sidewalk, at just the spot where Hudson would usually bend over to pick it up. In the two weeks before she died, she had just started learning to blow the seeds and would giggle as they scattered.
I looked around the yard-- it being a bit past dandelion season, I could not find another one like it anywhere else.
I couldn't help but think my sweet girl was saying hello during one of my favorite (now one of my saddest) moments.
So when I was fooling around on the Blogger design page today, trying to add the donation links at right, and saw the new design templates Blogger offered, this one with the blowing dandelion seeds jumped right out at me. Much more fitting in so many ways, don't you think?
