I tried to include at least one photo from every person who either emailed photos to me or posted some on Facebook. I made the assumption that if you did either, you would be OK with me posting your photo here on the blog, but if that assumption was wrong, PLEASE don
’t hesitate to email me and let me know that you
’d like for me to remove yours. I
’m keenly aware that not everyone wants photos of their kids on the internet for everyone to see. Sometimes I wasn
’t sure where folks were from, so those captions are blank (but the photos are still amazing).
Also, a friend is going to make a map of all the places where bubbles were blown for Hudson, so if I inadvertently missed you or you would like your location to be included, please let us know in the comments.
Thank you all so much.
I have goosebumps, Mandy. So much love and so many bubbles surrounding you all! -Kristine
ReplyDeleteAmazing. Add Colorado to the list!

I just emailed our pictures of bubbles. Sorry I couldn't get them to you sooner. All of these pictures just made me cry. What a beautiful tribute to you sweet girl!
ReplyDeleteIncredible! Please add Visalia, California to the list. We blew bubbles, but didn't get pictures. What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl!
ReplyDeleteRittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI will try to send my photos blowing bubbles in Singapore.
Your little girl can never be forgotten, Mandy!
I just did my weekly shopping in Tekka Market which is an open air market in "Little India", a neighborhood here in Singapore. One of the vendors where I buy my fruits had a little radio on playing music. While paying for my products, the song "Somewhere over the rainbow" started playing and I thought of Hudson.
So far away, never met and yet, I will never forget about her.
Jana Feltes/Singapore
This was quite moving to see. I can only imagine how you and Ed felt.
ReplyDeleteKris
My grandson Gavin and I blew bubbles from Prairie Village, KS. For some reason the pictures didn't turn out. Such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful little girl.
ReplyDeleteRebecca
Stunning.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't take any pictures, but we were blowing bubbles for Hudson in Hamilton New Zealand.
Hudsons beautiful spirit has touched the lives of people all over the world, and although I never met her, I am grateful to have had her touch mine.

I just cannot think of a better tribute to Hudson. Some of your friends are seriously talented photographers! I wish Ellie looked happier in her pictures -- she had a great time the whole afternoon, but in the moments I was taking photos she decided she wanted to hold the bubble bottle. (Or more accurately, dump the bubbles out.) Looking at these pictures, I am once again inspired by how wide a net Hudson has cast.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! A wonderful tribute for your girl! It is wonderful how much joy was spread in her honor. Though I have never met you, nor did I ever have the honor of meeting Hudson, I will remember her and think of her for the rest of my life, I am sure.
ReplyDeleteStunning! Add Cary, NC to your list :-)
ReplyDeleteAndrea
So wonderful! Please include UNC Law on the list--where Hudson's mommy and daddy reconnected! We love you!
ReplyDeleteSuch inspiring pictures!
ReplyDeletePlease include Indianapolis, IN to your list. Please know too that my 2 year old is struggling with a pretty significant speech delay. But on Friday, when we were blowing bubbles for Hudson, he said "buh-buh" for the very first time.
Jen
Please add Raleigh, NC to the list.
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful photos and so much love and joy! A perfect way to celebrate Hudson's spirit.
ReplyDeleteMandy, I was playing golf in Farmville, Virginia. I think blowing bubbles and thinking of Hudson relaxed me because I played pretty well!
ReplyDeleteOh my, gives me goosebumps!!! So much love in this community Hudson and you started. Isn't that One AMAZING thing??? Olivia
ReplyDeleteThese photos, Mandy, are without a doubt the most FABULOUS, AMAZING, HEARTWARMING pix I have EVER seen on the internet. G-d bless you!!!!! Mariann
ReplyDeletePS -- Are you going into labor yet????? LOL!!!!
Gorgeous, moving tribute. Was thinking of you and Hudson and bubbles all day.
ReplyDeleteErika
Thanks so much for posting the photos! They literally made me laugh and cry at the same time.

Add Cape May, NJ to the list :)
ReplyDeleteLove, Mark, Jennifer, & Sofia Lewis
Thank you Ed and Mandy for:
ReplyDelete1. giving Hudson to the world
2. reminding us what blessings we have and to count them
3. giving us such a fun and meaningful way to remember and honor Hudson
Much love,
Erica Marcoux
I am in tears. So much love for a beautiful girl.
ReplyDeleteSarah
I'm afraid I wasn't quite organised enough to let you know or send photos, but I'm blowing bubbles here in Melbourne, Australia for Hudson. What a beautiful lot of photos. I'm sure if we could close enough we'd see Hudson's reflection in all of those bubbles.
ReplyDeleteSo much love and support from all over the world...wow, THAT is One Good Thing!!
ReplyDeleteWe blew bubbles for Hudson in Scotland too.
ReplyDeleteLaura x
I heard a song that immediately made me think of Hudson and these bubble photos. I've pasted some of the lyrics below. I'll never hear it again without thinking of her.
ReplyDeleteEverywhere by Tim McGraw
(excerpted lyrics)
But ever since you said good-bye
I've been out here on the wind
Baby you would be surprised
All the places you have been
I've seen you in
Albuquerque waitin' out a blizzard
Arizona dancin' 'cross the desert
Watchin' the sun set in Monterey
Girl I swear just the other day you were
Down in Georgia pickin' them peaches
In Carolina barefoot on the beaches
No matter where you choose to be
In my heart I'll always see you
Everywhere

ReplyDeletethis post, a post with no words at all, is my favorite post of the whole blog
it's the end of the book/movie
not that it's the end
it's just so poetic in so many gorgeous ways
i am crying and beaming
